Paul Cebar and Band – 8 pm
Caribbean, multi-ethnic party
Milwaukee native Paul Cebar is a traveler. He likes to travel and his music travels also.
He’s been described as a “singing, strumming, and dancing museum of musical culture and a self-styled historian of myriad musical forms. He’s played all the following types of music and more: zydeco, African, Brazilian, Cuba, jump-blues, gospel, jazz, reggae, calypso, Afro-Caribbean, soul and vintage R&B and reggae. They are all influences that a used to become a unique Cebar song.
If you are one of the few folks that haven’t seen Paul Cebar, you’re in for a tremendous treat. Everyone I talk to loves his music. On top of being immensely talented, his music is fun. Think Calypso on a sunny beach.
If you have seen him, you’re probably marking your calendar right now and finding dance shoes that don’t mind concrete flooring.
